Stature Woodworks Workshop
Stature Woodworks — Sussex
Our Story

Built on tradition,
refined by craft

Stature Woodworks was founded on a simple conviction: that truly beautiful joinery demands patience, skill, and an unwavering respect for the material. Based in Sussex, we serve homeowners and developers across the South East who refuse to settle for the ordinary.

Every piece we make is drawn, fitted, and finished in our workshop — no flat-pack shortcuts, no outsourced components. From heritage oak staircases in listed country houses to sleek fitted libraries in new builds, our work is defined by precision and permanence.

We are members of the British Woodworking Federation and hold full public liability insurance, so you can commission with complete confidence.

What We Do

Elevated Craftsmanship

01

Fitted Furniture

Floor-to-ceiling fitted wardrobes, bespoke home offices, alcove shelving, and built-in entertainment units — all designed around your exact space and lifestyle.

02

Staircases & Balustrades

Handcrafted oak and ash staircases, from straight flights to sweeping spirals. Heritage-style turned spindles or clean contemporary glass — made to planning requirements and BS standards.

03

Doors & Windows

Solid timber internal doors, hardwood sash window restorations, bi-fold door frames, and bespoke front door assemblies. Sympathetic to period properties throughout Sussex.

04

Structural Joinery

Loft conversions, porch canopies, pergolas, and exposed oak beam installations. We work with architects, structural engineers, and directly with homeowners.

05

Kitchen Cabinetry

Hand-painted shaker kitchens, solid oak worktops, and bespoke larder cupboards. We supply and fit or work alongside your kitchen designer for a seamless result.

06

Restoration & Repair

Careful repair and restoration of period features — sash windows, panelling, floorboards, and heritage joinery. We match original profiles and timber species wherever possible.
